Suburban Fire Departments Join Forces for Hurricane Helene Relief Collection

In a show of solidarity and community spirit, Suburban Fire Departments are proud to announce their participation in a hurricane relief collection for those affected by Hurricane Helene. In partnership with Paul Davis Restoration, this initiative aims to gather essential toiletries to support relief efforts.

The collection will focus on vital items, including paper towels, toilet paper, disinfectant wipes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and paper plates, bowls, and cups. Residents are encouraged to contribute to this worthy cause by donating these necessary supplies.

We will be collecting these items behind our Headquarters at 240 Sears Ave.  Multiple other fire stations across the county will also serve as collection points for these items. The collection will run until Thursday, October 10th, 2024. 

Participating fire departments include:

- Anchorage Middletown Fire & EMS 
- Jeffersontown Fire Department 
- Fern Creek Fire Department 
- PRP Fire Department 
- Okolona Fire Department 
- Fairdale Fire Department 
- St. Matthews Fire 
-Zoneton Fire 

Collected items will be picked up by The Garage Crawlers Auto Group on Friday, October 11th, and delivered to those in need.
